Initial Consultation 60-90min. £96
This covers the consultation plus research time before & after the appointment
Prior to your appointment a health questionnaire will be sent detailing your full medical history, diet, current lifestyle and any concerns you may have. It also contains a 3 day food diary to complete in full prior to your consultation and needs to be returned at least four working days before the appointment. The health questionnaire provides some necessary information. It helps to give details to how your food and lifestyle may be adapted for improved health and to analyse any contributory factors to your health issues.
During the appointment a full case history will be taken and it will be established what may be the underlying cause of your condition and your aims will be discussed. We will talk over presenting symptoms and conditions that you are experiencing, as well as health and well-being goals that you would like to achieve. We will talk about food and nutrition preferences as well as lifestyle and emotional factors; to give me a comprehensive picture of your current health and well-being. This will allowi me to recognise any underlying causes and factors that might be driving or creating your symptoms and conditions, or presenting obstacles in achieving your goals.
After the appointment a personalised plan will be created and sent to you, which will include food, lifestyle recomendations, recipes, food shopping guidance and supplement recommendations if necessary.
Once we connect all the dots and assess your individual needs, I will make a detailed, tailored nutrition plan with some possible lifestyle suggestions. In addition, fact sheets and informational material to support your body’s natural healing process and optimise body functions and systems that need attention.
The plans are personalised to your individual needs, preferences and eating habits. The aim is to support you to implement any required changes in a manageable, achievable and sustainable way. The purpose is to find food and nutrition that work for you and your lifestyle. This is sent to you within 3 working days.
Non-invasive functional testing (laboratory tests) as well as supplementation options may be offered if deemed appropriate.
Testing can be done either by reffering to your GP or through private labs, which may detect any underlying health condition, such as nutritional deficiencies, allergies or intolerances.
